I guess that is the name of this block/quilt.
I have 4 full blocks completed and 2 sections. I placed them on the wall and LOVE the intersections of the blocks - a "circle" appears!!!!
I have 4 blocks completed and more cut out. They are hand pieced and no time is set for getting this done, so they can go slowly. All blocks have a different stripe and 2 colors that complement the stripe. I am thinking about using the dark stripe around the blocks - maybe 13 blocks????? They are almost 20 inches across the diagonal - and I like them set that way - so it will be a good size quilt.
We had a nice six inch snowfall overnight. This bush by the front deck may be touching the ground some day soon!!!!
I'm glad I got out for my walk yesterday afternoon when the streets were almost dry!!!
This is a quilt for a young lady graduating from high school. It started with a package of 40 ten inch squares. I have never used something like that, but it made the construction VERY easy. I did add some more purple blocks.
The quilting is wavy vertical lines..........just for texture.
I think this top is done. If I don't get it quilted soon, I'll start adding more to it. It is very busy!!!!!
I finally made it to Playmakers - after the sale due to family issues.
They still had some great shoes!!!! I will save these till spring.
And a new smartwool shirt - which will get used NOW.
